World Leaders Test

Today in class we had a test on the world leaders that we have been learning about all week and made a project on. Last night, when I began to study for this test I got very stressed out because I thought that I had to know every single government type. As in, I thought we had to memorize the different types of governments that each country has. Anyways, good thing that I didn't study that because it wasn't even on the test. I thought that this test was so easy and it was really just the basics about every country, and their leaders. I was really happy that I took the notes that I took in class and I payed attention in class because I felt very prepared for this test. Honestly, I thought that this was the easiest test so far, even though I was confused on one or two of the questions I am satisfied with the effort I put in.

In class today we finished up with the rest of the world leaders and their background stories. First, we finished Syria. We learned that Bashar al-Assad does not like his own people and he has ordered a plethora of crackdowns and military sieges on protestors. What started this for him was that his brother was killed in a car crash, and Bashar's brother was supposed to take their father's reign not Bashar. Next we went more in depth with Canada and their Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They have a federal parliamentary democracy, and constitutional monarchy. World Leaders information

Today in class we went into greater detail about all the world leaders that we had to research and create a powerpoint about. Mr. Schick was presenting his powerpoint, which had more information than ours did. His went into greater detail about the leader and their back story. First we started with Mexico. Their leader is President Enrique Pena Nieto, and they have a federal presidential republic. His approval ratings are very low and he is suspected to have killed his wife, but gets away with it. Next was China. Their leader is Xi Jinping, and they have a communist type of government. He is married to a folk singer, and he is the son of the founding fathers of the Communist party. Today in class, Val took her test, so of course for the rest of us its notes day...Yay my favorite, sike...Anyways, I only got through the first section but that is still 2 and a half pages of notes for me!
