finished outline

today in class we finished our outline. Philosophy and Art ·       Epicureanism and Stoicism : two schools founded from Greeks. o    Stoicism : Greek philosopher named Zeno founded the school of philosophy and believed that people should live in harmony with the will of god or the natural laws that God established to run the universe. They also preached that human desires, power and wealth were dangerous distractions. This promoted unity and encouraged followers to focus on what they could control. o    Epicureanism : Epicurus founded the school of thought. He taught that gods who didn’t have interest in humans ruled the universe. Believed that real objects were those that the five senses perceived. He taught that the greatest good and the highest pleasure came from virtuous conduct and the absence of pain.
