test discussion day

Today in class we finished going over the test. Today however, we argued all the questions that we got wrong. And we got extra points back, due to valid arguments that we made. I think I now got an A on the test !

Today was the day that Mr. Schick decided to show up late to our class. And today was the day we decided how the class will go. The initial plan was to all leave, then it was to lock the door and not let him in. Then it went to us repeating the "let us rejoice and be glad in it," every time he talked. Then someone came to the great conclusion that we should all not speak. GREAT CLASS YAY!

Today is my first day of high school. My first mod I had Honors Human Geography with Mr. Schick, who is also my advisor. I had a lot of trouble setting this up and sending the link correctly. Next, I had English, with Mrs. Zurkowski. That class was very fun, and it felt like it went very fast. We have a fun class with good people in it. After that I went to advisory and I was already hungry. Everyone is really quiet and I'm looking forward to lunch. Next I went to Honors Biology which is a good class that I think I'm going to really like! We went over the procedures and safety rules the whole time and I figured out that I have a quiz in that class tomorrow. Finally, once Honors Biology was done I was able to go lunch, which I was very fond of. Then I went to math and we already have a lot of homework, but I really like my teacher so its okay, and math is my favorite subject. Global to Local, and Oil Catastrophes and much more

Today in class we discussed the saying "Think global and act local." I interpret this saying as doing something little that will have a bigger impact on the future. Also, if everyone in the world does something small, and we work together by all contributing we can make the world a better place. I shared with the class what I thought about this quote. Mr. Schick highly agreed with my answered and supported it and then went into greater detail about it. Then, he put important information up on the board about it, and I took the following notes on it. "Geographers think about scale at many levels, from local to global. At a local scale they tend to see and find unique features. Then at a global scale geographers tend to see broad patterns."
