real exam review day

Today in class we went over the final things that were going to be on the test. As I am here, trying to remember my last bits of information, the stress is really hitting me, and I am starting to get really worried. Trust me, I have been studying for this for a long time, well not too to long, but long enough that I should already remember everything, and I feel like I just forget everything! Like I keep quizzing myself and poof, the information is gone. Ugh. I feel like I will still do well in his class, and on the exam but I hate this feeling, it is definitely the worst. So I am writing all the things down that I can't remember to try to help me...I hope this solution works. I don't like being stressed. Anyways in class we went over what was going to be our exam essays and I really couldn't see in the back and we were moving very fast, and Mr. Schick said that he would post them to his blog...which he didn't. Anyways its all good. I just have to get higher than a 74%

birthday celebration

Today in class was our birthday celebration for Mr. Schick. Owen brought in two cakes. One was chocolate with pink icing and the other was confetti cake with blue icing. They were like population pyramids, or the closest that we were going to get to them. Then, after we had a very long celebration, with cookies! That Mr. Schick brought!!! Then we were all relaxing and eating food, and playing music, and dancing! Then Kelsie had a great idea to play Christmas music, and then I suggested that we should do the "Mean Girls" dance! So we did that many many times, and then Mr. Schick told us that we should sit down and finally get class started. He started to ask us questions if we had any questions on what we did yesterday. And then he just went into more information. And then the bell finally went off, and we left!

sub day

Today in class Mr. Schick was not there. He hasn't been in school all day either. So in class he left us to study for our exam. I already made a Quizlet for his class so I went to my locker and began to get other books for my other classes to get ready for their exams. I decided to get religion books because we have that exam first. I began making the flashcards for bible and I suddenly got stressed. I spent the whole class period making the review and I didn't even finish. Theres so much information, and it just made me think that I really need to buckle down and get the work done. I got half way through the first lesson, and then I stopped because the bell went off. Ugh, now the stress is real.

talk

Today in class Mr. Schick was talking all about exams. He began talking about the schedule for them. The first day is Religion, and Social Studies. Then the second day is Science and English. And the final day is Math and Spanish. Personally, I am not looking forward to the second day at all. After we found out the schedule, he told us how the times worked. Even though most of us already had the Patriot Transition class that gave us information about it. He said that we have a set hour and a half to take the exam. We can not leave before this time is up. Then we can have an extended fifteen minutes to work if we still have the extra time. After this, then Mr. Schick went on and talked about the format of his test. He said that there will be 100 multiple choice questions, and then two essays. He said that he would give us the prompts to the essays so we are prepared for them. I think we all appreciated that. He said that the multiple choice questions are all worth one point and then the

Pop quiz and more info about demographic models

Today in class, Mr. Schick just decided to give us a pop quiz! Yay... But actually... Anyways, after that pop quiz we were all silent, and we listened to whatever he was about to talk about. Today was all about demographic transition. Here are some of the notes that I took. First, demographic transition refers to the transition from high birth and death rates to lower birth and death rates. Next, as a country or region . develops from a preindustrial to an industrialized economic system. This theory was propose in 1929, by a man named Warren Thompson. He studied this, and information of population from 200 years ago. Then we went into farther detail. I learned hat the most developed countries have completed the full cycle of demographic transition. Also, that the model will track population changes that occur as a country begins to develop or industrialize. Next, it works on a scale from 1-5. 1 is the preindustrial phase, and 5 is developed or post industrialized. We then went into som

Demographic models

Today in class we went over demographic models. When class first started we were really talkative and we made Mr. Schick mad. He said that he wants us to be more like we were in the beginning of the year. And honestly, I completely understand why he is saying this because everyone in our class just talks whenever they want to, and disrespects him. Anyways, we continued with going on about demographic graphs and we learned that it is a way of measuring people. It includes birth rate, death rate and total population. These are just the basic three things included in this graph. It also is divided into five different sections.
