crash course and colors

Today in class, we finally finished the Crash Course video. Well, we barely finished it. In the last few minutes of class. Ten minute video spread across the course of three classes. Crazy if you ask me, but I'm not complaining! Today, we asked many questions about philosophy, and then even got into a discussion about colors. This discussion took up the majority of the class. I started it by saying, "How do we know if colors are actually real." It turns out they are proven to be seen and there are instruments to see them. Then, me and Jamie got into this discussion. We were saying that, "If you say that this color is red it could actually be what I call blue, but I call my blue red because thats what everyone calls it and knows it by." Mr. Schick absolutely did not understand what we were saying, and we tried many different ways. Then this conversation went into advisory then, andHolly understood what I was saying. She used a different example with animals to prove it. I agree with her, we were on the same page.

New Uniforms and Politically Grouped States

Today in class we discussed for a long time about PSAT's. Mr. Schick was telling us how his daughter had difficulty trying to accomplish this test on her own. I took it into consideration when he said that his daughter got help and her score on this test started to improve. This test is on your own knowledge but that doesn't mean that you can't use other people's knowledge to help you be successful. His daughter got a tutor specifically for the SAT's and her scores began to increase. I thought about this and how it helped her, instead of doing it all solo. Then from that conversation somehow our uniforms got brought up. Then Mr. Schick told us that he thinks we should wear flight suits and how much more convenient they would be instead of uniforms. Review and Question Making

Today in class we had a review for our test tomorrow. Mr. Schick asked up to come up with three different questions that either will be put on the test or just general information that we should know. He gave us ten minutes to look over our notes and form questions, that aren't too basic, but aren't to difficult and precise. The following information is the things that Mr. Schick advised us to study and know.
