Testing day

Today in class we had a test. I was stressing about it the whole day but otherwise I was feeling fine, then the moment I walked in to Mr. Schick's room my head started to pound. And it still hurts really badly and I don't know why. I could barely focus during the test, I had to keep taking a second to refocus. It was so weird because I never get headaches, and this one was so bothersome. Anyways, I don't exactly know why I was stressing for the test today because it really wasn't that hard. Of course, there were some questions that were super confusing, but when I focused I was able to figure it out. If i broke down the question, and reworded it in my head it made sense. Then, I thought that the essay was pretty easy as well. However, I thought my essay was pretty good, except for the fact that my hand constantly kept cramping up so my handwriting was just a little sloppy.....

In class today we finished up with the rest of the world leaders and their background stories. First, we finished Syria. We learned that Bashar al-Assad does not like his own people and he has ordered a plethora of crackdowns and military sieges on protestors. What started this for him was that his brother was killed in a car crash, and Bashar's brother was supposed to take their father's reign not Bashar. Next we went more in depth with Canada and their Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They have a federal parliamentary democracy, and constitutional monarchy. World Leaders information

Today in class we went into greater detail about all the world leaders that we had to research and create a powerpoint about. Mr. Schick was presenting his powerpoint, which had more information than ours did. His went into greater detail about the leader and their back story. First we started with Mexico. Their leader is President Enrique Pena Nieto, and they have a federal presidential republic. His approval ratings are very low and he is suspected to have killed his wife, but gets away with it. Next was China. Their leader is Xi Jinping, and they have a communist type of government. He is married to a folk singer, and he is the son of the founding fathers of the Communist party.
